Georgian National Ballet Sukhishvili

This year, the world-famous Sukhishvili National Ballet of Georgia celebrates its 80th anniversary. Over eight decades, the ensemble has thrilled audiences across the globe --- from New York to Tokyo, Paris to Sydney --- performing on the world's most prestigious stages. To mark this milestone, Sukhishvili launches a spectacular anniversary tour, presenting the greatest choreography from its history in a powerful, modern production. The show is an electrifying tribute to Georgia's cultural heritage. The breathtaking male dances feature lightning-fast spins, gravity-defying leaps, sparks from sabers, and the signature toe dance --- a symbol of elegance and pride. Graceful female dancers glide across the stage in exquisite dresses, bringing balance, beauty, and charm to the performance. The program features live music by the Sukhishvili orchestra, using rare Georgian instruments and unique performance techniques passed down through generations. Costumes, handmade from natural fabrics and adorned with embroidery and stones, have inspired fashion legends like Saint Laurent and Dior. This unforgettable performance is a vivid celebration of tradition, artistry, and 80 years of excellence. The anniversary program is the ultimate compilation of the greatest choreography in the company's history, reimagined and restaged to match the grand scale of this historic celebration.
